UETDRMP018

Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel

First Aid for Electricians

This combination course is designed for electrical workers who may act as a safety observer when working with low voltage systems. In some states, completing this course is a mandatory requirement before obtaining an electrical work licence.

The UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel unit covers the skills and knowledge required to carry out rescue procedures from live low voltage (LV) apparatus – excluding overhead lines and underground cables – in the workplace. It outlines the mandatory requirements for rescuing a person from a live LV panel and applies to those working in electrical maintenance, transmission, and distribution roles.
The training also incorporates essential health, safety, and risk management practices that support safe work procedures across all operational levels.

This course includes both theory and practical training in CPR and Low Voltage Rescue (LVR). Students complete a short multiple-choice quiz covering course theory and are also assessed on their practical skills to meet the competency requirements.

We recommend enrolling in the full face-to-face course if this is your first time completing this training. For those who regularly renew their qualification, a refresher/blended course is also available.
